David Anderson ~ is an engineer and a Director of MD Consultancy (since 1995). His early industrial experience was with ICI in technical and line management.

David has been involved with management consultancy since the mid 1970's when he joined PA Management Consultants and participated in the development of techno/ management systems in the early days of the North Sea oil and gas developments. His work during this period provided a diversity of experience, majoring in the oil and gas and power sectors.

David has extensive experience in organisational infrastructure and management systems development. He has a wide exposure to leading UK sector developments; recently he has managed MD's internationally based restructuring and change management assignments.

 

Alan Lilley ~ is a graduate mechanical engineer and the founder and Managing Director of the MD Consultancy group (established 1987). He has substantial managerial background in a wide range of industrial and commercial activities. His early employment included: heavy engineering, shipbuilding, artificial fibres and food processing.

Alan has been involved with management consultancy since the mid 1970's. His first work in this capacity was in the Middle East, acting as an internal consultant within the Aramco organisation in Saudi Arabia. After a two year period in Saudi Arabia he returned to the United Kingdom to become a management consultant with PA Management Consultants.

During his 25 years of consultancy experience, Alan has been responsible for undertaking and managing over 400 strategic assignments. Several of these have pioneered various consultancy services, and are inbuilt to the product range of services provided by MD Consultancy. He has presented a variety of papers and is a recognised authority and trainer in several fields.
